The North Central Montana Political Landscape

Dear Friends,

Most of you have known me for a long time as the Jones Family has farmed and ranched in this area since 1896, and I have served as your Representative and Senator for over a decade.   I am now currently the State Representative for House District 18.  I have made the decision to run for Senate District when my term in the House is complete.  For me this is home country as we ranch in Teton, Pondera, and Toole Counties, and Frontline Ag Solutions, the John Deere dealership I am a partner as well as Pure Bliss Cycles are businesses that serve this area.    I  currently serve on Education Appropriations  and  Chair House Appropriations.. 

This website is created for you to get to know my track record.  For old friends it is a walk down memory lane, with plenty of hot topics of the times recounted as I put representation of my constituents at the forefront.  For those of you just getting to know me, this track record will give you a glimpse into the history of my service. You will find that I am, and have always been a "solutions orientated" individual, willing always to put my conscience and constituents ahead of any fear of controversy.  I have fought to keep Montana a "solutions" state, while leaving DC Gridlock and Chaos in DC.
