Jobs in a stable, growing economic environment are the foundation of every successful community and state.
That’s why I’ve worked to create a tax and regulatory environment where businesses can thrive and families can keep more of what they earn. Partnering with Governor Gianforte, I helped cut property and income taxes for businesses, homeowners, agriculture producers, and more — putting real dollars back into the hands of Montanans.
I’ve founded and served on multiple local economic development boards, and since being elected, I’ve focused on strengthening our rural economies. I’ve developed, drafted, and sponsored a significant share of Montana’s economic development legislation.
My motto:
“Government — leave me and my family alone. Leave me and my business alone. Leave me and my church alone. And leave me and my checkbook alone.”

My legislative goal is simple: empower Montana families, small businesses, and entrepreneurs by removing barriers to success and creating opportunity for all.
I’m working to:
I believe the creation of high-paying jobs and limitless individual opportunity is the key to restoring Montana’s full potential. By working together to solve problems, we can ensure Montana remains one of the best places in America to do business — and raise a family.
The proper role of government is to serve the people—not to require servitude from the people. Permits should be generated in a timely manner, agency responses must be prompt and courteous, rules must be both business-friendly and uniformly applied, and public employees should embrace the mindset: “How can I help you?”
From health care to education, from environmental protections to wildlife management, government should focus only on the tasks the private sector cannot do—and do them well. Spending must be prioritized, and performance measured by efficiency and effectiveness, not by the size of the budget.
That’s why I passed the HB 924’s “Fix it before it fails” trust fund—using interest in a proactive approach to maintaining and funding critical infrastructure like local bridges and Dams before they fail. It’s common-sense conservative stewardship: protect the investment Montanans have already made, reduce emergency repair costs, and avoid service disruptions. Preventive planning saves taxpayer dollars and ensures essential services remain strong for future generations.
